With your help, if a lot of collisions take place near the same spot, we might be able to have a warning sign put up or have other measures put in place. If a female badger is killed we might be able to find her orphaned cubs.
Please fill in as much as you can for road collisions with badgers in Leicestershire and Rutland. For other counties please report via the Badger Trust’s website or other local badger groups

- North West Leicestershire: Report via the North West Leicestershire District Council online form.
- Charnwood: Report using the Charnwood Borough Council reporting page.
- Hinckley & Bosworth: Report using the Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council online form.
- Blaby: Report via the Blaby District Council portal.
- Melton: Report via the Melton Borough Council website.
- Harborough: Report via the Harborough District Council service page.

Dead animal removal – Rutland
You can report dead animal of the Rutland County Council’s ‘Fix my street’ webpage.
Private Property: Councils do not remove dead animals from private land (such as your garden). For animals on private property, you will need to dispose of them or contact a private pest control/animal removal company. Such companies can be found on the British Pest Control Association website.
