What a wonderful day the Leicestershire and Rutland Badger Group had on Sunday at Queens Road Summer Fair! 

We lots of useful conversations with the general public about badgers in gardens, how to manage and learn to live alongside them.  

Many people who stopped to talk, discussed how much they learn about badger behaviour by placing wildlife cameras in their gardens.  Watching badgers forage, feed and play, as well as their interaction with other wildlife, like hedgehogs and foxes. 

There’s so much we don’t know about these curious and iconic animals.  That’s what makes the work of Leicestershire and Rutland and badger group so important.
